Guide Hire Rates

Use these prices to plan a project. Every hire remains subject to availability, account status, machine configuration and a written quotation from SGL Hire.

Our guide weekly rates have been reset to remain competitive with established specialist welding-hire providers. Final pricing depends on package, voltage, accessories, account status, delivery and hire length.

One-week minimum initial hire

Daily rates are used for agreed part-weeks, extensions and additional days. The first booking is normally charged for a minimum of one week.

  • Cooling, feeder, torch, cable and accessory requirements
  • Hire duration and quantity
  • Business account status and credit terms
  • Delivery postcode, vehicle, access and timing
  • Consumables, fuel, gas and damage-waiver options

Deposits, insurance and replacement value

Approved account customers normally do not pay a deposit. Other verified business customers may be asked for a card or bank-transfer deposit based on the machine and risk assessment. Customers must maintain adequate insurance for the full replacement value of hired equipment and provide evidence when requested.
