Which HMT drill fits the job?

Safe magnetic drilling

  • Use the supplied safety strap or secondary restraint.
  • The magnet needs suitable ferrous material, adequate thickness and a clean flat contact area.
  • Do not rely on the magnet on thin, curved, painted, rusty or contaminated steel without an engineered solution.
  • Secure work, control swarf and coolant, and keep cables clear.
  • Use the correct cutter speed, pilot pin and lubricant.
