About SGL Hire

SGL Hire is the specialist welding, cutting, drilling and site-power hire division of Sultani Gas Limited.

Built from specialist supply experience

Sultani Gas Limited was incorporated in 2016 and has developed around welding gases, industrial gases, equipment and workshop supplies. SGL Hire extends that experience into a focused trade-hire service for customers who need professional equipment for a project, shutdown, repair or temporary increase in capacity.

How the fleet is selected

We favour established manufacturers with professional support, available manuals and consumables, sensible service routes and equipment suited to UK workshop and site conditions. The fleet includes Jasic, Parweld, HMT, SITE-ARC, Instagrid, MOSA, Hypertherm, Böhler and Weld Star.

Inspection and maintenance

Equipment is cleaned, visually inspected and function-checked before each hire. Electrical inspection and testing is completed as appropriate to the equipment, environment and inspection history. Service and specialist repairs are completed by competent staff or manufacturer and authorised service partners. Condition and handover records are retained.
